The ephemeral and beautiful "SAKURA COLLECTION" by BAPE®

As the cold winter ends and spring approaches, the “SAKURA” cherry blossoms herald its arrival, a beautiful but ephemeral flower with a uniquely Japanese aesthetic that blooms in just two weeks.

During this time, "Somei-yoshino", a symbolic Japanese cherry blossom, changes from full bloom to snowstorm, flower carpet, and flower raft. People are fascinated by their transience and remorse the loss of their blossoms. "Hanami, which translates as "cherry blossom viewing," is a Japanese culture that is still very much alive today and has transcended more than 1,000 years of history.

A BATHING APE®'s “SAKURA COLLECTION”, available in men's, women's and kid's styles, will be released again this year, filled with Japanese aesthetics.

The global lineup includes two unisex T-shirts one kid's T-shirt. The collection features graphics of cherry blossoms with a Japanese castle on the APE HEAD TEE and monkeys looking at cherry blossoms on a pink BAPE® CAMO APE HEAD mat.

Available from Thursday, 14th March on UK.BAPE.COM and at BAPE STORE® London.
